If you want to immigrate to most nations on earth, you have to show you will be a contributing member of that society. However, under Obama, our law on this is being ignored. The result? Scores of immigrants who arrive only to begin feeding at the trough hard working Americans pay to keep flowing. The Democratic party seems to have an agenda to import votes from every direction even if it helps to bring our nation to it's knees. One Republican Senator has been trying to get this stopped, but no one seems to be willing to listen:

It's going on in Britain too.

A friend from there told me that once foreigners get on welfare they leave Britain for their home countries and get this, they continue to get welfare checks mailed to them from Britain to their home countries.

And yet some countries (New Zealand being one) don't allow you to emigrate without proof of vast economic independence thus (at least for quite some time) keeping immigrants from getting on the dole.

It's a long game to destroy capitalism. Never mind China and the USSR both finally realized Communism Sucks.

So many cases like that in Canada. Where the social welfare was one the most generous and the best health care around. Not anymore. I hear Sweden and Finland are still good places to abuse their welfare systems.

It's the new American dream.

It's all part of fundamentally transforming the USA....

I have worked around a lot of people on welfare. I have been told, no joke by an illegal that was living in free housing, had food stamps, had medicare, ect that it is easier for an illegal to get those benefits then a job.

They then work a cash job on top of those benefits and no wonder they come. I would.

You all do understand that this is "policy". Absent a requirement to provide official identification, ALL of the illegal sorts will vote for the party giving them the free ride; several times each (see 2012 election - there were precincts in Ohio where Romney to NO VOTES - what are the odds of that - NO VOTES). The more illegals you can get into the country, the more votes you get. Ultimately, you have a MONOPOLY, and will run ALL branches of government as you see fit. Forever; OR, until you run out of money. And they WILL still want their checks; and education for their illegal kids; and free healthcare; and .....

During the big depression of the 1930s unemployed were offered jobs building roads bridges and other public works.
Now our roads and bridges are in a state of disrepair. Instead of offering the unemployed welfare why not offer them
jobs fixing roads bridges dams and other useful jobs that will put us all in better shape. Our country is sick and getting worse.

Ancient Rome went the same way nobody worked and produced, this lead to internal decay were in the midst of the same
type of decay in our country right now. Obama is making it worse. Work not welfare is what this country needs

Have you seen the "Obama-Phone lady"? How long do you think she'd last building a bridge? And you'd have to ask yourself if you'd want to drive over it when complete.

The difference is that during the depression, the people were moral, and really wanted to work (they had a "work ethic"). Today, why work when Obama will give you everything you "need".

Yup, why work when the government will pay you more money to sit on your couch and watch tv; or whatever it is you do with all of your non-productive time.....
