Missouri Democrats Introduce Gun Confiscation Bill

Gun owners would have 90 days to turn in their guns or remove them from the state.

there is very heated debate on the link.....

Do the dems think that we will go quietly into the night?

If there be a shot fired in anger, let it be them...

The thing is, democrats are SO blind and SO avaricious for power that they cannot see the train that will flatten them if they actually pass something like this. THIS is EXACTLY the kind of legislation that will turn angry fed-up gun owners from law-abiding citizens into insurgents.

On a side note, here's something to consider........ The pentagon has just announced the creation of a new medal for drone pilots (the only one which is specific to THEM alone), and which is ranked higher than the Bronze Star. (I wonder what my Bronze Star father, who was awarded his for action in the blood and guts of the Iwo Jima ground campaign, would think of giving medals like that to people who get 3 square meals a day, hot showers on demand, soft beds and warm cozy blankets, no incoming mortar fire, no rucksacks with 75 lb loadouts, no IEDs, ZERO personal danger, AND WHO DO IT IN NEVADA instead of deploying overseas!!!) Given the demographic makeup of the military, and likelihood that a majority of those serving would refuse to carry out an illegal order, maybe this new medal is a bribe to encourage those who would drop a bomb on a civilian home in Missouri (or Texas, or Idaho, or wherever)?

Just a little sumpin' sumpin' to roll around in the back of the mind.....

Sorry for the duplicate thread. I'm always the last to know, a day late and a dollar short and the slowest at typing.

I get the distinct feeling that the anti gunners will not accept "no" as an answer and will force the use of the 2nd Amendment for its intended purpose.
Chance favors the prepared. Making good people helpless doesn't make bad people harmless.

Sometimes I really wish a lawyer would chime in and clear things up. Do we have any lawyers on this forum?

Rory Ellinger is an idiot. The only reason he was elected is his district being in an small suburb of St. Louis that is heavily old school democrats and liberal college professors (Washington University in St. Louis).

Two years ago while doing some I.T. work in the Military Treatment Facility (MTF) at Creech AFB, Nevada where is just so happens they train the Drone Pilots, a LT walks in all a huff. And the following discussion took place:
Female NCO “How can I help you sir?”
LT “The Doc gave me this” holding out a hand written script
NCO “What’s your concern with this prescription?”
LT rolling his eyes “I’m on flight status, I’m a Pilot!”
NCO “Ok sir, so is your concern with this script that it might lead to you falling over in your rolling chair, if so; I can get ortho to issue you a stool without wheels?”
LT with a dumbfounded look “ No… I.. uhhh…”
NCO “Sir, you’re on flight training status and only fly simulators not actual aircraft. And I doubt these two Tylenol with codeine will adversely affect you through the entire weekend and affect your game play on Monday. If it does, come back and see me as you will be in need of a full flight physical to make sure you’re up to the rigors of office chair piloting”
LT left without another word.

Over the five days working there, I saw similar exchanges between so called “Pilots” and the medical staff. Seems there was some real issue with these guys strutting about in flight suits calling themselves Pilots when they’ve never flown a real aircraft and did mostly simulation flying. The flight surgeon in charge of the clinic had flown combat mission in both Desert Storms and had his staff’s back on them NOT being real Pilots.

Back on topic.
It seems the IL Democrats are invading their neighbors to the west. St Louis and Kansas City are the Chicago’s of MO. Everything in between seems to be far more conservative. Unless the Meth epidimic there has destroyed that too.

I have no idea if any of you know what a "Fobbit" is. There's an enlisted guy named A.J. Merrifield who has an sharp wit and can definitely nail down "labels" on the kind of military people that drives the "regular joes" crazy, including the new "Predadork" (AJ's sites are down, so I'm just offering the image he drew).

Nothing like being awarded a medal for playing a video game. :evil2:

Maybe if they get enough of them, they can trade them for a stuffed animal ala Chuck E. Cheese.

They're so desperate to demonize and turn law abiding gun owning Citizens into criminals. Criminals by definition, do not obey the law. Ergo, I don't have to obey said law?

Sorry about that. My original point about medals for drone pilots was to motivate them to target "insurgent" homes.......inside the USA.......when "they" come to take the guns.
