TEN MYTHS ABOUT GUN CONTROL

#1

Post by 67SS »

this is a older read/document.. I am assuming written by some one @ duke u. some where around the first gun ban...

I encourage everyone read this link.... it has very good facts and figures... and would really make a liberal sequel
http://people.duke.edu/~gnsmith/articles/myths.htm" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I want to add that.. we should insist that people like Pm stop using the inflammatory term Assault Rifle, and Military style... they are strictly semi autos nothing more...and refer to them(all semi autos and bolt guns) as recreational/sporting rifles... as that is what the majority of them are used for...

I believe this is a NRA-ILA document. From the bottom of the page:
Copyright October 1994, NRA Institute for Legislative Action. This is the electronic version of the "10 Myths of Gun Control" brochure distributed by NRA. To obtain paper copies of this brochure, please call NRA Grassroots at 800/392-8683.
No State shall convert a liberty into a privilege, license it, and charge a fee therefor. -- Murdock v. Pennsylvania
If the State converts a right into a privilege, the citizen can ignore the license and fee and engage in the right with impunity. -- Shuttleworth v. City of Birmingham
