Are the Very Tyrants We the People Should Fear Most I find it hard to believe that the Freedom of the Press uses its Rights to take away Rights of Others. When a great Nation of People (You and Me) such as ours does not look to future generations Freedoms then it is only self serving. The Foundation of Our Government that the Founding Fathers Fought so Hard to Establish was for all times not just now. They saw how Governments could not be trusted, they were not inept and wanted Our Rights Protected.

In my everyday fast paced life, working , family, pets, concerns about money, charities, automobiles, the house, you name it we are all going 90 to nothing.

So all of a sudden the Bell of Freedom Rang and it said "Texas Lookout" do what you can , no matter how little, just a talk to a friend, a letter to your elected officials, just do something to Save All the Rights For All the People for Generations to Come. and God Bless the Untied States of America.

been ringing that bell since 1990....I have lost a few friends because of my stance on liberty.... I shouted about the patriot act.. everyone I asked about it said " oh, the government needs that to capture bad guy and keep us safe" horse feathers... I said.... it a way to reduce liberty, to suspend habeas corpus, allow unwarranted wire taps, indefinite detention, etc... as for the 4th amendment... its all but nullified... I was shouted down.....just look at what has been removed form "US" since 1960...in liberties...

I wonder what its going to take to make the masses stand up and say.. NO MORE... people are so worried about their: fast paced life, working , pets, concerns about money, charities, automobiles, the house.. they wont see their liberty slipping away.. and thats the problem.. they are so worried about the comfort of self indulgence they dont see they are loosing the one real, tangible god given thing... liberty.

here is a talking point... are you safer now? do you feel safer? do you like the airports, the local drones of the police, do you like the terroristic threat law? (close to thought police) how about lets apply common sense... who are the ones most likely to harm us from abroad.... screen them... yes that is profiling, profiling works, whether its race based or gender, what have you.. it works.. else the FBI would not be using profiling... Oh?, what? the FBI uses profiling? Oh, ok, just as long as its not publicly seen profiling... its ok... HU?

I understand what you are saying. As for me its still not to late to voice my concerns for future generations. One can bury their head in the sand so long.

From what I am gathering is that there will be rallies at all State Capitals voicing concerns on the 2nd Amendment. A lot of people who would attend will not be because of work , but will likely still think of the rallies and Future Rallies. Some people will not show because they have to be politically correct around their friends, family, or workplace job. But you and I can still send emails to News Media, and Govt. elected officials.

The weather will be nice.

May I submit that you framed the argument incorrectly. They use democracy to dismember the REPUBLIC.

A good point . However after reading Article IV of the Constitution. Is probably one of the few areas where one can start to read about a "Republic Form of Government" and then reading onto the "Federalist Papers" (which I have not looked at yet),but will.

These great Men our founding fathers. Went to great lengths to protect the rights of almost all people. The did set many levels in which the people, if they wish to do so Stop Politicians efforts to take away rights. The legal process to do this would require the efforts of many . Governments officials use the Media and Government money as their tools to change the Constitution and the Bill of Rights.
