VP Biden is going monkey-crazy over universal private background check for firearm private sale. Now, it is not only gun-show loophole, it is transferring ownership of your firearm to your son/daughter needs a background check. That is totally nuts.

How do they enforce transfer of ownership without a registration? Universal background check means one thing and only one thing Registration of your firearm.

Oh, yes, I'm sure that they want registration very, very badly...you can't round up firearms and pressure citizens to "turn them in" unless you know where they are to start with...which is why it NEVER gets the guns out of the hands of criminals. Disgusting, of course.

The 40% statistic they keep quoting as being the number of gun transfers that do not go through an FFL is such a complete joke. That was actually 36% from a "study" done that surveyed 251 people over 20 years ago and most of the sales were from before the Brady check went into effect. Ridiculous.
