"Having more than one person with a gun would make his job harder". I guess stuffing body bags of defenseless people is easier?

All those deputies walking around the office with guns must make his job really hard.

Makes you wonder if these people ever actually read the documents on which this country was founded.

What he means is any gun that is not under his control/authority.

The Harris County Sherriff, like the Houston Police Chief, is an indication of how big-city Texas is slowly being infiltrated by the liberal, do-gooder, anti-gun ilk from other areas of the country. I hope & pray that the last election was enough of a wake-up call for a conservative resurgence in Harris County, but I'm not holding my breath.

How much is liberal infiltration and how much is conservative apathy?

If it makes his job easier to not carry gun, I think we should encourage him to disarm himself and leave Texans alone.

I would say 75% infiltration to 25% apathy

Edited to add: I guess we'll see if I'm off-base with the mid-term election results...

According to this report http://www.chron.com/news/houston-texas ... ?cmpid=ael" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 140 peace officers showed up after the shooting was over. How did these 2 young men manage to have loaded firearms in a "gun free zone" to begin with?

:iagree: but I'm not sure he could make it in today's politically correct environment. Shoot with Mayor Parker alone.....
