EXCLUSIVE VIDEO — James Taylor on gun control: ‘We need to make some sacrifice[s] to our freedoms’
http://dailycaller.com/2013/01/22/exclu ... -freedoms/
“I think the nation is very divided on gun control,” Taylor told TheDC, “but I think the majority of us feel strongly — even the majority of gun owners feel strongly — that we need to make some sacrifice[s] to our freedoms, if that’s the way to put it. We need to make some sacrifices to what we might want to have, in order to safeguard our children.”
Starts at about 2:00 into the video. So done with him.

Still crazy after all these years. This isn't the only time he's made politically boneheaded remarks. He's a celebrity, after all.

Yeah but he's seen fire and he's seen rain, so we should all value his opinion.

Why don't these Hollywood "Stars" and Washington "politicians" who believe in Socialism open up their Homes and allow the homeless to stay with them or open up their Wallets and give money to the poor?
They are NOT giving their "Fair Share" to the least of these. Hypocrites!

Sometimes the foolishness that flows out the mouth of Fools still astounds me.
Then I have to remember:
Orange juice comes out of oranges
Apple juice comes out of apples
Pear nectar comes out of pears
....
....
Jerry, there is no patriotism in them.

Or, to put it another way, "Ye shall know them by their fruits."

Hmmnn... and to think that James Taylor was one of the few singers since Marty Robbins to sing a song about justifiable deadly force as sometimes the only alternative "The point of a gun was the only law that Liberty [Valence] understood... When the final showdown came to pass, a law book was no good."
