Radio Interview with Texas AG Greg Abbott.

Hes got Texans backs!!!! I was listening to am550 KTSA earlier today and Sean Rima interviewed him and made me proud to be in this great state. Listen to it. He pretty much told Obama to stay out of Texas.

If he runs for governor, he's got my vote. His actions and statements over the last couple of months have cemented my opinion.

I love Greg Abbott. I had the great pleasure of having him as the speaker of my private school graduation back in high school. To this day, the school still says he was the best speaker we have ever had. Spending the day with him was a real treat. If you go into his office, there is a wooden box and the top is inlaid with different types of wood to look like the Texas flag. One of the guys in my graduating class made it for him and as far as I know, he still has it in his office. A friend at the school got Greg to give the graduation speech by asking him how he liked free speech. When Greg said he was all for free speech, Tim asking him, "Well how about coming up here to give one?" All the families of the graduating class made a generous contribution to his campaign fund - more than the cost of the trip and speech.

I wish we could clone Greg so he can be the attorney general and run for governor. I know when Perry put in his bid for president, there was rumors that Abbott was eyeing the governor's seat. I wouldn't mind having him for governor, but at the same time, I would worry that the attorney general's seat would have some mighty big shoes to fill. As of two days ago, Abbott's campaign fund leads over Perry's.

Men such as Greg Abbott, great leaders, attract others with like minds. If Greg Abbott runs for governor, I rest assured that someone qualified to take his place will run for AG as well.

So he's good on this one issue. What about other things? Remember, that RINO governor up in NJ is good on dealing with the unions, but in most other areas seems to be liberal leaning.
