Well, then if BHO tries executive orders, I suggest the following:ryouiki wrote:Thought this was a fairly interesting video:

[*]Introduce articles of impeachment
[*]The Republican-controlled House passes a bill specifically condemning the president's act.
[*]Legislation is introduced to repeal the National Firearms Act of 1934.
[*]Legislation is introduced to repeal the 1968 law.
[*]Legislation is introduced to specifically oppose Feinstein's kind of ideas.
[*]Legislation is introduced to ban confiscation.
Who cares if the Senate won't go along with it? It makes the point.
Impeachment for violation of constitutional authority, a non-impeachment condemnation as well, and a bill to ban confiscation would make it clear that the majority of Americans (by population) oppose the President. The Democrats trashed the idea of a republic and claim we have a democracy -- let them eat it.

Re: CATO on 2nd Amendment in 2013
The problem is that we as a group haven't been getting our points across. Everything shows we are right on the issue of gun control. The constitution. The history of gun control. Scholarly works and studies. Common sense. The facts about who commits gun crime, why they did it, and why they weren't prevented. All of it.
All they have is emotion and misrepresentation.
However, their points are easily summed up in soundbites, they have the media on their side, and the bully pulpit of the presidency.
A sizeable portion of gunowners, who should be with us, aren't (the "as long as you leave MY guns alone" crowd) or are hurting more than helping (the Alex Jones, time for revolution, unable to talk about the issue without spittle flying types).
Smells like defeat at the moment.
