Voted today.....DID YOU!?

Early voting worked out very well in my particular area....

No parking issues.

No lines.

Walked in around a quarter to 4, showed a voter registration card, grabbed a ballot, and got er' done. Too easy.

My biggest gripe is that they are NOT required to confirm your identification. That's absolutely CRAZY imo!

Alas, that's something we need to get fixed.

Anyway, get out there and VOTE!
88 day wait for the state to approve my constitutional right to bear arms...

I wish the second amendment rights were treated the same way as voting rights.
This will only hurt a little. What comes next, more so.

Me and the wife go the the waterway and walk on Sunday afternoons after church then go get a salad at Market Street. The community center is where we park so we'll vote before or after the salad.

I voted today :txflag:
The only peeve was a lady who stationed herself between the polls and the parking lot. She was a pit bull trying to get me to vote democrat. I recommended she get out of my face and that it was rude for her to accost voters who did not come to debate their choices with her. Inside, they informed me she was the appropriate distance from the doors and apologized the parking lot location made everyone have to get past her hard sell tactics.

My wife and I voted midafternoon today.

Sent my message to Washington and elsewhere that I remember in November what they've done since taking office.

No line, no panicky socialists, no wait - in and out in less than 10 minutes.

Voted yesterday (Wed, Oct 20) about 3:30, in Clear Lake.

Parking lot was fairly full, but I was third in line at the door. Took about five minutes.

Is there a benefit or an advantage to voting early? I would have thought smaller lines, but every time I've early voted, in Austin, I wait minimum 20 minutes and up to 45 minutes. When I go election day, there's usually no more than 2 or 3 people, in and out - couple minutes. I prefer election day to vote.
I believe there is safety in numbers..
numbers like: 9, .22, .38, .357, .45, .223, 5.56, 7.62, 6.5, .30-06...

I always vote on election day. I don't see anything wrong with voting early, but I just like the ritual of going to the polls on election day.

Same here.

I've never thought of it as a ritual, but I do like the idea of kinda "celebrating" our right to vote by exercising it on the same day. The danger for people like me is forgetting to do it. I'm quite forgetful for things I don't do nearly every day. Since I don't live in Chicago, I don't vote often enough for it to become habit.

I prefer to early vote just in case something happens on election day. Started after I missed voting one year when my car was rear ended & totaled by a girl with no license, insurance, inspection, or tags.
