New video: CNN engages in some fear-mongering of their own while accusing 2A supporters and the conservative media of fear-mongering. (warning: you'll want to throw your shoes at the screen)

Rick Sanchez making a personal attack against Glen Beck only shows how scared the mainstream media is. First, he makes light of Obama's record on guns, but then he says that Holders past statement that he won't do anything to hurt American's 2A rights, should be taken as gospel.
Sanchez is a whiner, the end.

Glenn Beck is a twerp, but even a twerp can be right every once in a while.
The things that liberals that hate Fox News don't take into account is that their real NEWS division does quite well at reporting news.
Glenn Beck and his ilk are not journalists; they are pundits that give editorial comment on news stories.
I think the opinion division of Fox is a joke that undermines its news division. The problem is, news is a money business, and catering to people who are already sure they know the facts without expanding their minds to any other viewpoints is a huge moneymaker, and thats why Fox and MSNBC do what they do.
Personally, I watch both because watching Keith Olbermann, Ed Schultz and Rachel Maddow give me great insight to the left, as much as watching Sean Hannity, Glenn Beck and Rush give me to the right. Sometimes I agree with Olbermann, sometimes with Beck. They all are twerps to some degree, but entertaining ones.
I guess I can view all these folks as entertainers, which, in the end, is what they honestly are.
AFter this lengthy rant, back to the point, and briefly:
I find it sad that media twerps like everyone I mention above are ALL intellectually dishonest, ignorant and lazy.
I get most of my news from scrobbling through the internet, and NPR. NPR, while usually accused of being a leftist pit of dispair, tries its best to keep its obvious biases obvious, and up front. I can appreciate that, at least.

I saw that too! He needs to take care of that mouse living on his chin though...
I could say something about Sanchez, but I would be breaking he rules of the forum...
What is funny, is you need to watch this video clip without sound...Just watch the seething, disrespectful body language Sanchez uses in this hit piece...No need to hear anything on this clip...You can see it...

Thank you Allen for standing up for us and not in a crazy everyone's out to get us attitude but a calm collective one that I think represents most of gun owning Americans today. Most of us aren't crazy conspiratists, but are just taking a cool rational approach to the situation.
I hate to break it the gentleman opposing Mr. Gottely (don't know if i spelled that right) but gun confiscation
HAS ALREADY HAPPENED HERE IN AMERICA!!! Btw I would love to yell that into his denying liberal face.
Police went door to door after hurricane katrina confiscating guns "for their own protction." Way to knock the feet out from under someone after they have already survived such a devastating disaster.

Rick Sanchez was drunk and ran over someone. He drove away and came back 2 hours later. This hit and run paralyzed the man and caused him to go into a nursing home. He died a couple years later from complications from his paralysis.

I think that they must have taught Sanchez the word apoplectic immediately before the broadcast.
He went from saying 1.2 million more requests for background checks to 1.2 million dollars in the same sentence.
My favortite part was when Boehler said:
"It's incredibly irresponsible. We've never seen a televison news oufit sort of exploit these kinds of fears before" and then he uses the word militia 3 times in one statement. The fact that he made that statement on CNN, almost has me speechless. It's certainly laughable.
I truly hope for the' sake of Sanchez that it's all just a show, and he's not really that ignorant.
Just for the record, extremism in any form is bad.

But I
can't appreciate that they do it on
my taxpayer nickel. Let them go fully commercial, and then they can spew whatever garbage they want, and we'll see if they survive in the marketplace of ideas. But as long as they receive a significant chunk of their support from taxpayer dollars, then I have a right to expect political neutrality. Until they make that moral connection and begin to act with integrity, I genuinely hope they go under; because there is
NO legitimate reason that I should be compelled to support a propaganda machine with which I am in total disagreement.
I hate them.

Lets see, the last 48 hours...
The cnn folks are having a grand ole time making oral sex references to the tea parties, cnn reporters interviewing tea party participants as 'fair and balanced' as if they finally got a chance to interview hitler, and posting a message from begala that we should call April 15th 'patriots day', and that the tea parties were organized by "Fox News clowns and right-wing cranks" it seems that people were not listening.
FOXNEWS O'REILLY 3,980,000
FOXNEWS HANNITY 3,239,000
FOXNEWS GRETA 2,947,000
FOXNEWS BECK 2,740,000
FOXNEWS BAIER 2,401,000
FOXNEWS SHEP 2,185,000
COMEDY DAILY SHOW 1,777,000
MSNBC OLBERMANN 1,499,000
COMEDY COLBERT 1,446,000
CNNHN GRACE 1,336,000
CNN KING 1,292,000
MSNBC MADDOW 1,149,000
CNN COOPER 1,021,000
You gotta give them some respect, it takes a real attachment to your message to follow it all the way to the unemployment line.

They DO make it in the marketplace of ideas. 98% of their money comes from private individuals or corporations.
In 2007, we I think we gave them around a million bucks (at least according to the tax form I remember seeing. They very well could have gotten more.) The National Endowment for the arts gave away almost $20 million that same year. Harry (g)reid got 7 million for a blimp in NV. I'm personally far more annoyed at wastes like that, but to each his own.

Must feel good to be behind a news parody show in the ratings....of course, I expect about the same quality from Stewart as I do from CNN, so...

"Rick Sanchez is no longer with the company," according to a statement from CNN.
