Firearms lessons are now compulsory for schoolchildren - even at a young age. This is how Poland is preparing itself for a potential Russian attack. The children are enjoying it, and their parents feel proud.
Looks like the kids are having a lot of fun.
Honestly should be the same here

If it was taught in the US, we probably would not have happen, what occurred at a Wisconsin private school today.Paladin wrote: ↑Mon Dec 16, 2024 5:26 pm Firearms lessons are now compulsory for schoolchildren - even at a young age. Re: Poland makes firearms training mandatory for schoolchildren
Kids seem to have a pretty realistic perspective.
Perhaps we should trust their judgement more than their "eductators", at least those in the US.
In these last ten years, when I have (from time to time) had real doubts about the future of our country, Poland, Czech Republic and a few others have come to the fore in my mind.
With this recent election, I can defer that process for four years (probably). But the fact that it is on a number of our minds...hmmmm, not a good thing.

Re: Poland makes firearms training mandatory for schoolchildren
If NATO/US/Poland would quit provoking Russia they wouldn't have to prepare for a potential Russian attack.
On the flip side, they should absolutely be preparing to defend their country against whoever may take hostile action against them...whether it's Germans, Russians, Chinese or the US.
“Rightful liberty is unobstructed action according to our will within limits drawn around us by the equal rights of others. I do not add 'within the limits of the law' because law is often but the tyrant's will, and always so when it violates the rights of the individual.” --Thomas Jefferson
