“Gun violence” assumes that a gun is an independent actor. The gun chooses to engage in violence. This is nonsense. Violence originates in the person, but many weapons are used to commit violence. The problem resides in the person, not in the weapon chosen. The question is what has happened to the culture that it turns out people without moral awareness and self-control.
Ask yourself who removed moral restraint from our lives and you will know the guilty party.
When Biden gave his condolences speech to Japan on Abe's assassination, he blamed it on "gun violence." He just couldn't resist. Never mind the fact that the shooter used some kind of bubble-gum-and-safety-pin home made gun.“Gun violence” assumes that a gun is an independent actor. The gun chooses to engage in violence. LOL, Like the assasination would have been so much more honorable with a katana, poison, or explosive.Ruark wrote: ↑Sat Jul 09, 2022 7:49 amWhen Biden gave his condolences speech to Japan on Abe's assassination, he blamed it on "gun violence." This is what I don't understand. A country could have a higher murder rate than the U.S., but if the murders were all committed with knives, they wouldn't count. To some people only crimes committed with guns, matter.LOL, Like the assasination would have been so much more honorable with a katana, poison, or explosive.
