59.43% of Texas Republicans voted to keep him in last year’s primaries. The Texas Republican Party has 4-5 years to find and promote 1 viable challenger in the 2026 elections…..if we still have elections or any liberty left then.

Modern politics is supposedly the art of compromise (as well as ensuring power and wealth are accrued to our political class). Any politi-critter who does not align with the big-Government, nanny-State Leftists needs to take a clear look at their actions rather than their words. The Left, particularly on firearms restrictions, continually calls for compromise while they are not truly giving up anything and therefore not comprimising at all. Anyone not in their camp needs to call them on this every time these issues are brought up rather than seeking to "meet them halfway". Representatives should represent their constituents' rights rather than "dealing" them away in sound-byte, photo-op appearances of reaching across the aisle to folks who deal deal in dishonesty and subterfuge.
