Bald eagle thanks, what I got from a perusal of the linked news accounts was a high incidence of gang related and other career type criminal enterprises. Rather than ban guns we should outlaw home invasion, gang vigilante justice, and drug dealing.
Oh that's right they already are.

Unfortunately that's 2013. I'm working on 2015. But thanks for the links. They were helpful to get a more complete picture of the source of this baloney.AndyC wrote:As for shootingtracker.com - I don't know if you're aware of this:

I'm up to 50 now. Here's the types of events. It's pretty clear that the predominant sources of violence in America are drugs, alcohol, gangs and family or friend disputes.

At least some in the media are finally figuring out that ShootingTracker.com isn't a reliable source for data on mass shootings:baldeagle wrote:Unfortunately that's 2013. I'm working on 2015. They hid their accumulation of gear from their neighbors, who knew nothing about their secret. One thing that bothers me...... One thing that has been repeated about the two terrorists is that they received a large volume of UPS deliveries to their home in the days or weeks before the attack. Well.... UPS and FedX trucks make regular deliveries to my house too.....because, the Internet. Does that put me under suspicion in some people's eyes? Luckily, not in my neighborhood. But I can imagine that going forward, people around the country are going to be much more suspicious of neighbors who get lots of unexplained package deliveries. And it is common for gun owners to order gear online.....
.....see where this could be going?

They had pledged allegiance to ISIS: http://www.cnn.com/2015/12/04/us/san-be ... index.html
As the San Bernardino attack was happening, investigators believe the female shooter, Tashfeen Malik, posted on Facebook, pledging allegiance to ISIS leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, three U.S. officials familiar with the investigation told CNN.

Before my daughter was born 2 years ago, the UPS man was at the house almost every day. Now that I will have a son come May, I expect the UPS man to start coming by the house every day again. Good thing my closest neighbor is over a 1/4 mile away and is not a snoop. The Annoyed Man wrote:http://www.latimes.com/local/lanow/la-m ... story.html

How do you keep packages from being unexplained? Tell all your neighbors anytime you order something online? It's really nobody's business what shows up at my house.
In certain extreme situations, the law is inadequate. In order to shame its inadequacy, it is necessary to act outside the law to pursue a natural justice.

They had left a remote control bomb at party which failed to detonate: http://www.nbcnews.com/storyline/san-be ... ty-n473621.
Folks.... ISIS is here. Vetting? What vetting? The shooter passed the DHS vetting: http://www.nationalreview.com/article/4 ... f-sessions.
ISIS is not only here already, more will come.
Be ready.

So, it sounds to me like the MAIN value in DHS "vetting" of immigrants is in providing a paper trail AFTER they commit a terrorist act as to how they got in. But it does NOT keep them out.Senator Ted Cruz (R., Texas) and Senator Jeff Sessions (R., Ala.) want President Obama to release the immigration records of the San Bernardino shooters, arguing they should play a key role in the coming debate over funding the Syrian refugee resettlement& program.
Their request comes as CBS reports that one of the shooting suspects passed the Department of Homeland Security’s “counterterrorism screening as part of her vetting” for a visa. Federal officials maintain that they have a rigorous and effective screening process in place for people from countries such as Syria that have significant jihadist movements, making the immigration records of the San Bernardino shooters a potentially significant piece of the debate over refugee policy.
ISIS is not only here already, more will come.
Be ready.

You're absolutely right. It is nobody's business, nor should it be. But in light of what happened in Riverside, some people are going to start experiencing nosy neighbors, and uncalled-for LEO visits.jason812 wrote:Before my daughter was born 2 years ago, the UPS man was at the house almost every day. As I said earlier, the inevitable is happening. Couple lone-wolves home grown terrorists went inaction, however, they were novice. They never decided to flee or hide. Did not seek another target. etc...
The more the screws are tightened on ISIS the more of this criminal behavior would pop up.

You are right especially until we stop playing around and completely destroy them. As long as the POTUS is a sympathizer this will continue to escalate.Beiruty wrote:As I said earlier, the inevitable is happening.
