Anyone know if this bill we make it through the entire legislature? That would be a delicious cherry on the cake.

It very easily could, but make no mistake Gov. Jay Nixon (D) will be quick to veto it. The beauty of a legislature with a supermajority however is that they can, and have, override his vetoes. Just last session they were very quick to override several pro-2nd amendment vetoes.

If there are veto proof supermajorities in both houses, why not just introduce it the way you like and not depend on the Communists formerly known as Democrats to do the thankless job for you?

It is pretty funny though.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.
