I really don't understand this fear of a gun store being near a school. Do they really think the proximity of the store is going to encourage more people to go on a shooting rampage at the school? It is absolutely dumbfounding.

It doesn't have to make sense or fix a problem. It is an attempted death by 1,000 cuts. Anything they can do to make gun ownership and use less effective, less desirable, more onerous, more expensive, more hassle, more risky appears to get them closer to triumph, and they are therefore for it,
