Maybe you only have to sell half your soul for the nice paycheck.
I've been on contracts working with BAH employees. Most of them were pretty decent people - unlike some of the other unnamed major IT consulting firms.

I'm sure they have a lot of super folks. I'm just not thinking very highly of the ones that are on NSA contracts and mining my data.

Back in the mid 80's a Colonel that I had worked closely with on a matter asked me if I would go work for him at the NSA. I can now say proudly that I said no thank you and he didn't push the issue.

The NSA was, and continues to be the deepest, dankest, most slime filled part of the “swamp”. I understand that trying to stop terrorist attacks before they happen, is critical, but they lost their focus. They were complicit, in the “Russia collusion” hoax, and continue to feed the left, with illegally intercepted info. In Trump’s second term, the NSA needs to be disbanded. JMHO
Take away the Second first, and the First is gone in a second
