I watched the entire speech he gave and it made me laugh out loud about the "Squishers'. Cruz is my kind of guy. He knows he was not sent to Washington to get along and go along but to stand up for our rights. It is not winning him an overwhelming number of friends among politicians, but he sure makes me proud.

In many professions, doing the job effectively often results in having few friends. All politics should be this way. A politician's best friends should be his constituents that believe in the Constitution and BOR.
His worst enemies should be the leeches, sponges, and orcs,

I can guess which Republican Senator was doing most of the yelling. His ire was spilling out in public. But then I think he is still smarting from a failed presidential bid.

It's times like this that my many moves for work seem to actually be productive. I got to vote for Rand Paul in KY in 2010, Ted Cruz in TX in 2012, and possibly Paul Braun in GA for 2014. The Constitution just may have a chance.

Heaven forbid they actually have to stand on principle for something.
Cruz should out the feckless wastes of oxygen who said that.

My wife says that I do as well. And I'm cool with that.

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness. How unnatural. How cheap. How cowardly. How pathetic-TN

Could be Lindsey Graham too. He and McCain are too chummy.
Cruz will have to watch his back for the next few years. He's not made friends on either side of the aisle. They'll have people watching him 24/7 for anything that can be spun to make him look bad. I support what he's doing. But I forsee a scandal in his future. Not that I think he's a bad guy, just that nobody is perfect, and someday someone will find something to hold over his head. That seems to be the way of politics, if you can't beat them discredit them.
