The reports I've read said she tried to take one of the victims' pulse and didn't realize there was a defensive gunshot wound to his wrist which her finger inadvertently slipped into. I have no doubt it was traumatic.

Unfortunately, her response for decades bas been emotional and illogical. Here current proposals have no rational link to her terrible experience.
