I'm surprised that gun folks aren't already well aware of what's going on in this area. The link is a good place to start but the tech toys that look up your virtual skirts have been deployed widely for a long time. If you've undergone enough radiation therapy for cancer and ride the subway in New York, you'll find yourself in custody until you can explain why you tripped the sensors. Mobile scanning vans aren't exactly common but they've been deployed with absolutely no regard for public safety. TSA takeovers at train stations are just something you have to endure if you live in a place where they like to test new toys.Andrew wrote:Warrantless technological searchs... If you want to know more about these topics, any search engine is your friend. (Just the articles on slashdot.org should be enough to make you cringe and they are only really interested because of the new technology.) However, if you'd prefer not to lose all faith in the capacity of your government(s) to even minimally respect your rights, do NOT read up on the subject.
