They also don't even attempt to explain "More than 70 people have been killed in Florida alone by concealed carry gun permit holders." Under what circumstances where those 70 people killed? Most likely they were killed because they were trying to harm the CHL holder or someone else, and the CHL holder acted in self-defense. But I'm guessing they don't care - the CHLs are the bad guys, so we don't count.
So using their arguments, should we disband the police force too, especially in light of that North Carolina cop executing a fleeing man?
There are bad apples in every organization or group... sadly, law enforcement seems to have a higher crime rate than CHL. Should we disband the police force?
This is just further evidence that all of their hoopla has nothing to do with saving lives - it's about the desire to control others. If it were really about saving lives, they would be focused on activities that kill hundreds of thousands if not millions more than CHLs - things like DWIs, abortion, etc. Instead, those types of activities are either ignored or protected, regardless of the toll in lives they take.
The saying is absolutely true - "Gun control" is not about guns, it's about control.
It's funny no matter what they say or do the majority of states have concealed carry and open carry. I guess the majority see through their lies and anti-gun propaganda. So what they're doing seems to do more good for CHL and open carry. Maybe we should be thanking them.
Pretty sad when folks get up and testify to a state senator, using half truths, and out and out lies.
From a very well scripted text, they rehearsed over and over before the hearing.
