Didn't realize such a group existed. Glad to know not all docs are quacks.

Re: Doctors for Responsible Gun Ownership
Was the word "Responsible" in the group's title really necessary?
"Doctors for Gun Ownership" works just fine me.

Exactly what I thought. If you are writing about changing law, you should have a better understanding of current law.mr surveyor wrote:looks like they mis-interpreted Texas law ..... that seems to be a regular occurance with "out-of-staters"

Look again, he works in San Antonio. I have also seen a sign at Quail Creek stating that hospitals are off limits. Unfortunately, it isn't just out of staters that need educating.mr surveyor wrote:looks like they mis-interpreted Texas law ..... that seems to be a regular occurance with "out-of-staters"

In response, I think I'll start "Gun Owners for Responsible Surgery" - and tell doctors how to safely, responsibly and sensibly doctor and operate on people. Seeing as I know as much about thoracic surgery as they do about guns, it'll be only fair. For the children, of course - it's just "common sense".

I wrote to them, entire text available but stuff we all know, pointing out that the law changed in 2007 and they were spreading bad information.mr surveyor wrote:SRH78 wrote:Look again, he works in San Antonio.
