This is a real stunner. A mind impenetrable by logical or rational thought. He is polite though, and actually engages in discussion, not just shouting nonsense and insults like most of them do. This guy actually says we should ban "everything that can hurt anybody" --including nails. He doesn't advocate banning hands and fists though, just teaching people to "love" in the schools. No pun intended.

I think I'm just going to start asking these anti-gun whack jobs how come they support gang rape? If they say they don't I'll ask how a woman is supposed to defend herself against a group of rapists, and if they say the answer is to call the police, I'll say, I thought rape was a big problem in this country, that's what the feminists say? If that's all you have to do to stop a rape is call the police, then how is it that women are being raped, or are you saying that rape isn't a problem for women? Or maybe that the "love" this guy wants to teach everybody?

I had enough and closed the video when the anti stated that we should devise a kitchen utensil to replace knives that wouldnt kill people. How can one expect logic from someone who would wear that jacket?

You have to maintain your sense of humor. He did give sincere responses. I thought the banning anything that could hurt anybody line was pretty funny. Of course, to ban knives you'd have to ban metal, and things like toothbrushes, pvc pipe, plastic plates....well, let's say, most plastic and glass and ceramics....and probably things like grinders and sanders. There is where you begin to clash with the tree huggers, since you'd also need to ban rocks and trees. I'm surprised he didn't mention bows and arrows though, since they're potentially more deadly than say, a stone axe.....but hey, if we've banned stones, no problem. Oh yeah, we'd have to ban all vehicles as well, but the metal ban should take care of that.

It should be remembered there are people of good faith on the anti gun side as well. Besmirching the entire group out of hand furthers nothing except division and furthers not our cause.

You know what they say about that one road being paved with good intentions. In fact, that is one of the primary problems with liberals and progressives --their belief that their good intentions are substitutes for the bad results and disastrous consequences they bring about pursuing their ideology. I put more stock in integrity and facts than I do in good faith....depending on the good faith of those that would strip you of the most fundamental right to life...the right to defend yourself....is very unlikely to produce positives results for anyone, their families, or society at large.

Well, what do you know. The best thing to do would be to teach people to be civil towards one another. Sounds familiar ...

How are you going to convert these people if you are going to make fun of them?
Its difficult to get them to the range for theat critical life changing first shot if you're too busy attacking them.
Beat them with facts in a polite manner. In person then take the next step and offer to show them what you're arguing. Once you get them to the range they'll be on our side in no time.

The ones that are doing the attacking of our rights know the facts. The elimination of the RKBA is their goal. They do not want to be converted.
I do understand what you are saying but here is the rub. The ones who can be converted are not the ones who are actively trying to remove our arms. Know your enemy.
Also, if you examine the statistics on the number of firearms and compare that to the numbers of those of us who are active in the defense of our rights there is a huge gap in the numbers. The ones who need to step up to the plate are the ones who take our freedoms for granted. If these silent firearms owners would only voice their disapproval we would have no problem whatsoever and the governments would not dare push any antigun legislation.
In my opinion the time for playing nice passed a long the ago. The state of our country illustrates my belief.
