That's actually a good question. He was indicted, not convicted. I wonder at what point they revoke one's CHL.

If you or I get indicted, our CHL probably gets suspended until the matter is resolved.

Could charges be brought against her for “retaliation” and if so, by whom?
God Bless America, and please hurry.

The law seems very clear on this point. The law states that the department SHALL suspend ...

I don't see any exceptions for governors, politicians, lawyers or DAs.

However, I am not a lawyer. :rules:

She did not file the complaint. Craig McDonald with Texans for Public Justice filed the complaints.

you forget sovereign immunity and that the grand jury cannot nullify that no matter what they want to try, so this is nothing more than a political thing. Not gonna happen, not gonna go anywhere its reminiscent of John Behnors(sic?) attempt to indict Chairman Maobama for being a communist

I thought this applied only to civil actions against the government.

You know, I never considered this. Kinda sucks for him that he loses his right to carry while this nonsense is going on.

Well, he does have DPS as his bodyguards so I doubt any coyotes will get close to him.

I would be surprised if anyone checks to see whether he is carrying or not.
