im guessing it will take the complete destruction of a couple gun control states before people will wake up and figure out that they've been had and that gun control wasn't about the guns but just the control.....

Ask how he will get the cameras where the illegal gun sales are occurring... Oh yeah - and how he will get the local gang-banger arms dealer to delay those sales for 72 hours... Moron!!

As much as I disagree with these tactics, it is happening on the private sector even here. Have you ever looked around when you go into a gun shop or pawn shop. I know its more for security but there are cameras all around most of them.

Voluntary is way different than government mandated. I got no beef with private business owners having security cameras running in their stores while I'm purchasing firearms. I do have a problem with laws that require businesses to videotape me purchasing them as an informal gun registration.
From a technology perspective, what are the requirements? Aren't FFLs required to keep all data on firearm transfers essentially forever and/or turn that data over if they get out of the FFL business? Video data takes a lot of space and retaining it costs money...
With facial recognition all those cameras strewn about the city will identify all the "dangerous gun owning citizens" going about their daily routines. Sort of a test bed for a "precognitive" Police State in the making...
Just get you one of those caps with the LEDs in the bill. That'll make a nice flare in the camera...
Not sayin' that anyone one would do something' like that or anything.

I don't think very many that live there are law abiding. All of those were ran out or converted long ago.
