I don't see to many snakes in my yard (I'm on 4 acres) but being in the city and in a bad part of town I always carry when working outside my house (and most of the time when I'm inside as well). Fortunately I don't have to worry about anyone knocking on my door because the whole yard is fenced in but I always carry when checking the mail or taking out the trash especially because I live off of a major street. I just don't feel comfortable unless I have a 1911 holstered to my hip

I have been approached by some knuckleheads selling meat while mowing my yard. They really got stupid after I refused to buy from them. Pretty sure they had been drinking before they stopped.

While I carry if I venture away from my property to the store, walk, travel, etc. I don't feel a need to carry while mowing.

If I'm not working then I'm carrying. Until my company allows me to legally carry, I will continue in this way. I'd like to carry 100%, that's for sure.

I carry my Governor every time that I am in the yard. We have snakes, foxes, bobcats, and just about every other varmint. The foxes used to want my Schnauzer for their dinner. Wasn't gonna happen as long as I was there.

I will not use a hoe or other garden tool to kill a snake.
I know it and my neighbors know that there will be a gun involved! :fire

I don't, because I have my yard work done by a much younger fellow.
