Ohio National Guard Training Envisions Right-Wing Terrorism

Post by The Annoyed Man »

We have today boneheaded move coming from the ONG:

Ohio National Guard Training Envisions Right-Wing Terrorism
http://mediatrackers.org/ohio/2014/02/1 ... -terrorism
Documents from an Ohio National Guard (ONG) training drill conducted last January reveal the details of a mock disaster where Second Amendment supporters with “anti-government” opinions were portrayed as domestic terrorists.

The ONG 52nd Civil Support Team training scenario involved a plot from local school district employees to use biological weapons in order to advance their beliefs about “protecting Gun Rights and Second Amendment rights.”

Portsmouth Chief of Police Bill Raisin told NBC 3 WSAZ-TV in Huntington, West Virginia that the drill accurately represented “the reality of the world we live in,” adding that such training “helps us all be prepared.”
This is the reality of the world we live in? That 2nd Amendment activists would use biological weapons in the schools to advance their beliefs?

Are they drunk over there in Ohio...........or are they just run of the mill democrats? What is WRONG with those people, and why do they pick on patriots instead of the real terror threats?

Sigh....more liberal drivel trying to cast anyone who disagrees with them in a negative light. I note that the scenario seems to involve local school district employees in the plot. I wonder how the district feels about their employees being cast as the bad guys? Just another guns are bad, big government is good scenario. Too bad everyone is so politically correct that they can't cast the scenario to be where the threat is most likely to be found. Hint, it's not from 2nd Amendment supporters...

I've noticed for years (decades actually) that a D in the White House = an increased awareness/prep/talk of "domestic terrorists" while an R in the WH = more talk etc of foreign terrorists.

Now if I was going to extrapolate that observation, seems to me R's a wary of foreigners and D's are wary of their fellow countrymen.

A-R,
Your dart hit the target but has missed the bulls eye. Ask yourself, how has the fear of foreigners and countrymen shaped our polices both foreign and domestic and who benefits? Therein lies your answers.

The subject line is rather ironic to me.

In May, 1970 the Ohio National Guard was the perpetrator of right wing terrorism at Kent State University
by using live ammunition to kill unarmed college students.

Crosby, Stills, Nash, and Young chronicled the murders in a song. "4 Dead in Ohio" was the main line in that song.

From the perspective of 70 years I have thought for some time now that it demonstrates extreme cowardice to attack those who will not defend themselves while ignoring those who chop heads off if you attack them. It is a matter of intestinal fortitude. Face it, Christians, conservatives, and patriots are a "gun free zone" for liberals. Liberals can do and say whatever they like to us without fear of reprisal. Only a few cry foul. I am tired of treating them with kid gloves.

This.^^^

You kick a dog enough times, and one day it bites you. Personal restraint is not a core value of progressivism or the left. Personal restraint is a core conservative value. Thus they get kicked a lot because lib/progs know that 99 out of 100 times it is safe to kick them. The problem for the kickers (and for society in this parable) is that when the dog finally bites back, blood will be drawn. How much blood will depend on how long the kicking has been going on.

I have long felt that conservatives need to act up much more against the collectivists. I thought the tea party would bring this type of confrontational reprisal but, with the exception of Ted Cruz, they seem to have grown tired of the fight. Main stream conservative leaders say a lot of pretty words but inevitably cave when the fight gets tough. With regards to the Ohio national guard, we have seen this type of training now at the pentagon, homeland security, FBI and local police agencies. My tin foil hat may be on too tight, but I believe it is an attempt by the collectivists to change the mindset of what are typically conservative filled organizations to a more progressive, anti-constitution, orientation. If/when the time comes that the government orders these organizations to move against the people, they will more likely follow orders if they see the people as the enemy. The militarization of the police, the NSA spying on us, the shredding of the 4th and 5th amendments by homeland security are all steps down this road.

Because picking on real terror threats is not, uh, politically correct and could be construed as racist. :mad5

Amazing how we rarely if ever see training with staged middle eastern terrorists :smash:
