Fox News has picked it up. They are likely to be the lone voice in the MSM

Since everyone benefits from lower crime, perhaps conservative politicians should propose a tax on everyone who doesn't have a chl.

Can anyone find a link to the actualy study?
I just think that our side needs to be the side of integrity and even if I agree with the premise, I am a bit leery of quoting this when I can't read the actual study/article.

If it available electronically, it was out of my reach. I tried everything that I could think of. I agree with you that I would hate to support it and then be blindsided later when it is discovered to be a fraud.goose wrote:Can anyone find a link to the actualy study?

Unfortunately for us, it appears to be a paid download. Posting the full thing here would be unethical, and we shouldn't stoop to that level.goose wrote:Can anyone find a link to the actual study?

But seeing the full thing would be good - it appears the anti-crowd has also read only the abstract, and has already decided to cherry-pick the conclusions they want to see out of it:

Yeah, a debate can very easily be dismissed as simpleminded or disingenuous once a bad quote, or similar, is found out. I don’t want to give anyone easy outs.chasfm11 wrote: If it available electronically, it was out of my reach. I tried everything that I could think of. Agreed, no need for piracy or taking intellectual property. I guess it does further my suspicions. I am surprised the bigger players aren’t getting this public. By no means a blanket condemnation, just a note for further review.Vol Texan wrote: Unfortunately for us, it appears to be a paid download.
