Everyone better be thinking about what lines in the sand they are going to draw...because the time is quickly coming when you will be confronted with them. I would not have stayed in that state...period. The people who are registering should be ashamed.

In California's case, I don't think they have to retroactively register long guns already in possession, hence the rush to buy them before 1/1. But going forward, all such purchases will be registered with the state.

Just for grins:

Let's say that you wanted my .45 Eargensplitten and I wanted your .357 Loudenboomer and we agreed to trade both of our registered guns, one onto another. How would that work?
