O.C.T. Interview tomorrow, live on ProGun Podcast.

Post by G.A. Heath »

I know that Open Carry is a hot button issue here, in fact it's the one way to catch my attention with a thread title. With all the politics involved in this topic myself and my friend Ray decided to open up the podcast gear so we could put together another episode. The episode will be recorded live tomorrow (Sun Dec. 1 2013) at 5:00pm Central time. Here's the plan:
1. CJ Grisham from OCT Has responded via email that himself or another person (an official from the group) will be on the podcast for the interview.
2. The episode will be recorded live and might feature call in comments, so the live stream may not be suitable for children.
3. There is a toll free number to get on the podcast, 1-866-TALK-301
4. You are invited to participate, callers will be expected to keep language clean.
5. The iTunes episode will be edited for language only (If required).

The Guest from OCT may or may not stick around for the call in session, it's up to them. We do have a list of questions we plan to ask, but if you have something you want us to ask then let me know because we might ask it also. The link to listen to the live stream is http://progunpodcast.com/live-show/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; and eMail can be sent to host@progunpodcast.com

I'm not hearing Charles either. Just hearing the host.

I'm sorry about that, It seems that there was an issue with the live broadcast app, it seems that it was filtering the audio below a certain threshhold to eliminate "background noise." The call in service has not lived upto my expectations, I need to work with it more to make it work right. I do have the complete audio, I am trying to make it sound as clear as I can and will have it posted tomorrow at the latest, but I hope to have it ready by midnight.

Looking forward to it, I'm at the station today and though I could not listen live I can't wait to listen to the recording.

The audio is not the best, but I did get things where it is workable. On a Side note Charles mentioned a famous figure in civil rights, The first person who can tell me who he mentioned AND the added significance of that person being mentioned on the day we recorded the episode will be mentioned will get their username mentioned/added in the show notes.

The audio is here: http://traffic.libsyn.com/progunpodcast ... st-047.mp3" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

I am going to leave the audio here exclusively until tomorrow about noon then the episode will drop via regular means

I may have missed a bit by listening between calls but the only "civil rights" figure I recall was the New Black Panthers who carried openly as an intimidation move at the RNC and as a result got the preemption law diluted allowing municipalities to restrict the carrying of firearms in certain locations, CHLs exempted.
