MA Politician Wants Unannounced Home Searches by Police

This is what conceivably happens when the Government gets to make lists.
Probably won't happen but what a bozo.

" There are "600 registered gun owners in [Swampscott]," and the selectman wants police to be able to drop in unannounced, enter the homes of each gun owner, and verify compliance."

Perhaps his constituents should back a similar measure to drop in on the homes of local politicians unannounced, just to verify they don't have anything illegal in their home, such as illegal drugs or other contraband.....

Seriously though, I'm not really surprised. It is Massachusetts, need I say more....

I have to object strenuously, Swampscott (actually Lynn at the time) is where my family hails from and part of our legacy is written into the Bill of Rights as the Fourth Amendment.
