A long article describing in detail how Miss Kalifornia is indistinguishable from Bloomberg, and concluding the opposite. The only people who are going to buy it are the low info voters and progs who were going to vote for her anyway.

Great slogan from the Abbott site...."Bringing California values to Texas." Hope he hits that hard.

I like that. Humorous and terrifying at the same time.

Wendy Davis may not be "pushing" gun control (during the campaign) ...but she won't stand in its way either.

The only thing she will do is take votes away from Abbot. Right now, she's not really registering in the polls, although she was showing 5% back in late October. Any points she gains will likely detract from Abbott rather than Davis.
What I hear you saying is, "don't vote for the candidate you think will do the best job, vote for the one who has the best chance of winning"

Are we any better off because we have consistently voted for R's or D's? Then why would we keep doing it?

If you want to know how serious the threat to your gun rights is, watch this undercover video that exposes the connections between Obamacare, voter registration efforts and a group called Battleground Texas that is determined to turn Texas into a blue state. http://pitchforkpatriots.wordpress.com/ ... e-program/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

These people aren't playing. You'd better not be either, or your rights will disappear in the blink of an eye.

Don't forget that the reason we got Bill Clinton (and may get Hillary) was because of Ross Perot running as a third party candidate. Though I would have preferred someone more fiscally conservative than Bush, he was a whole lot better than Clinton. In this case we have a GREAT candidate in Abbot. I understand the frustration with the national Republican Party leadership, but we can't afford to let Texas fall. Voting for anyone but Abbot will help the anti's and Democrats.

If Abbot wins in a landslide, it will make the Democrat money people think twice about throwing so much money away here in Texas again. Vote for Abbot!

:iagree: Absolutely correct on all points. A major Democrat loss in 2014 will divert DNC cash elsewhere.

To get the thread back on track it will be more interesting to see her and Abbot debate. I couldn't stand watching Perry debate and the previous Democratic candidates were always boring. I demand to be entertained! :biggrinjester:
