I watched that live last night. Caught the start of it scrolling channels.
I thought she availed herself very well, especially considering it was 4 against 1 (I'll give Anderson a neutral vote on this one.. I'm feeling generous)
"Facts"

Emily did well. Amazingly enough, Anderson seemed pretty even handed and allowed Emily to make her points and have an open debate without a lot of talking over one another. As stated above, Emily brought facts to the table where no one else did. Her main argument was enforce and use what we already have on the books. The rest of the panel was worried about labels for the mentally ill, why do we accept another shooting as old news, etc. None of them seemed to focus on how to prevent another incident, it was all feel good round table stuff and ergo, guns are bad.
I'm a big fan of Emily, she works tirelessly for the 2A. She is full of facts, knows them well, and can hold her own against any of the antis, shooting down their argument with facts. As a single woman she is also not the typical "NRA old white dude" (no offense to anyone intended) and I believe it helps her in these situations.
BTW, she'll be here next week in Dallas and Houston for a book signing if I'm not mistaken.

My guns won't be illegal, they'll be undocumented.
Got a kick out of how Anderson acknowledged that he was wrong about the killer attempting to buy a handgun, that all he did was ask about it, and then claimed he was right anyway.

Has pierce Morgan apologized for his "It's a fact" statement yet?
Great job on the interview Emily!
If you carry a gun, people call you paranoid. Nonsense! If you carry a gun, what do you have to be paranoid about?

She'll be in Dallas at the Barnes & Noble, 7700 W Northwest Highway on September 27, 2013, and
at the American Gun Rights Policy Conference in Houston on the 28th of Sept. 2013.
Emily has a one hour interview that airs on C-SPAN2's BookTV. A little dry from the interviewer--well, a lot dry--but worth a watch.
The next time it airs is Sunday, September 29, at 11:00 a.m. Central.

As Ms. Miller mentioned, the NSSF has launched FixNICS.
The firearms industry is launching a campaign, FixNICS, to encourage states to report to NICS all records that establish someone is prohibited from owning a firearm under current law.
