It’s racist to show pictures of terrorists

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Less than a week after Washington Democratic Rep. Jim McDermott wrote a letter to the FBI about the “Faces of Global Terrorism” ad he found to be racist, the ad is being taken down, the Seattle Times reports.

McDermott had written that the Puget Sound Joint Terrorism Task Force’s “ad featuring sixteen photos of wanted terrorists is not only offensive to Muslims and ethnic minorities, but it encourages racial and religious profiling.

If they replaced the pictures with pics of Tea Party candidates and members then it would be appropriately labeled as terrorists according to barry's supporters:

26% of Obama Supporters View Tea Party as Nation’s Top Terror Threat

Half of all voters consider radical Muslims the bigger terrorist threat facing the nation, but supporters of President Obama consider the Tea Party to be as big a danger.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 51% of Likely U.S. Voters consider radical Muslims to be the bigger threat to the United States today. Thirteen percent (13%) view the Tea Party that way, and another 13% consider other political and religious extremists to be the larger danger.

So what. I view 100% of Obama supporters as terrorists. Along with 99% of politicians regardless of their political affiliation. :evil2:

That's amazing, only 51% understand the truth about the threats we're facing. The other 49% must be asleep or complete idiots. We are in a sad state of affairs my friends. God help us all. It's beyond words just about. God says if a man lacks wisdom let him ask for it. Evidently not too many people are asking these days. Common sense tells you if you don't do a certain amount of profiling, you aren't going to catch any bad people. I truly don't care about PC, I'm into MC (Morally Correct).

Normalcy bias is a large part of it.
