McCain Accuses Tea Party Colleagues Of Pushing Dems Too Far

http://washington.cbslocal.com/2013/05/ ... s-too-far/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
A long-simmering feud between establishment Republicans and Tea Partyers [sic] broke into full view Thursday, with Sen. John McCain accusing younger colleagues of overplaying their hands and tempting Democrats to change Senate rules that protect the minority party.
Seems not acting like Democrats (as McCain does) does not sit well with the "establishment".

Just makes me happy(er) I voted for the Honorable Ted Cruz. :thumbs2:

A lot of the mess we are in is directly attributable to guys like McCain that are so stuck on maintaining the status quo by not bucking the system and old boy's club.

I respect McCain for his military service, but as a senator, he doesn't represent me or my way of thinking. As for Ted Cruz, I didn't vote for him because at the time I didn't know much about him. Since then, HE IS THE MAN! I will vote for him next time and everytime he runs as long he fights the status quo in Washington and continues to fight against gun CONTROL! :patriot:

We can only hope and pray that true statesmen like Cruz and Lee are joined by more of the same next election.

We should make a rule. Only immigrants from communist countries can serve in Congress.

That senator is the reason we have this mess on our hands. Because of senators like you McCain. You sell out your constituents for a feel good compromise. Thank you for your service in the military. Now please retire and enjoy the rest of your days.

Not sure why McCain carries all the clout he does. He gets asked about almost everything having to do with the military, foreign relations, etc.

He is famous for being shot down and staying alive in N. Viet Nam. I am sure he did more than was expected of him in staying alive and helping his fellow prisoners endure what they had to go through.

Yes, he has been in the political area for a long time, and I am sure he is more qualified now than when he was first voted in, but I do not feel he is really qualified to answer for the entire party, although he continues to try.
If the 2nd admendment only applies to muskets and muzzle-loaders, then the 1st admentment must apply only to the spoken or printed word. Printing must be done on hand presses, news stories must be written in longhand, no keyboards or electric processes may be used.

He answerd more for the lefties than he does for us. He does not even rate being called a RINO.

Him or Obama, there were others running for Pres but they had no chance of winning. At the time I thought McCain was the lesser of two evils.

And you were right. Don't forget, Palin was on the ticket too. She might have really shaken things up in Washington. She may still.
