Where in Texas should Magpul relocate?
Colorado's libtard Democrap politicians have passed their latest gun control laws and Gov. Hick-n-loopy has signed them. What's done is done (until the recall).
So to what part of our great state should Magpul relocate?
After you vote, go ahead and act as your own Chamber of Commerce rep - tell 'em why you want 'em down here and how much they'll love it.

While all of the options are good ones, I think the shipping availability of DFW is probably best. They'd have access to numerous rail yards, dozens of trucking companies, etc. They might even be able to save some $$ on their shipping.

Anywhere but Austin. Why would they leave place like Colorado with it's libitards to settle in a place full of the same ilk? Fischer, Texas has a nice amount of real estate.

I seem to remember a Scooter Store down there getting raided recently, had 1200 employees or something like that. That might be available.
Luckily, I have enough willpower to control the driving ambition that rages within me.

I think I remember that, but The Scooter Store is in New Braunfels; not that far away. NB is feeling the influence of liberals as they move there.JALLEN wrote:I seem to remember a Scooter Store down there getting raided recently, had 1200 employees or something like that. That might be available.

Texarkana. It is a rail town, well endowed with plenty of rail lines and traffic. With the completion of I-49, we'll be at the intersection of a major north/south artery from Canada to Mexico, and a major east/west artery, I-30.There is still talk of making the Red River navigable up to Texarkana which would also allow shipping by water. We are close to the National business distribution center of the U.S. which moved west from Memphis TN a about 2 decades ago IIRC. We've got a nice industrial park right where the Lone Star Army Ammo plant used to be.
Finally, I live here, and we could use the jobs.

LaRue Tactical is Leander, about 25 miles north of Austin, and in Williamson County ... VERY conservative, gun-friendly area .... if your job ever relocates you to Austin, be sure you lay your head in Williamson CountyRobert*PPS wrote:Austin?!?!?! DFW
#1> With direct flights into DFW from just about every city in the US, Europe, and Japan customers can get direct flights in and out.
#2> Rail and truck lines all run through the heart of DFW.
#3> They can be closer to Cheaper Than Dirt so that the can continue to keep them stocked with $70 Gen 3 PMAGS.

I hadn't thought of that. Perhaps If Mapgul was closer price would only be $50 per?
Of course, if I was Magpul I'd charge CTD shipping from 3 different locations - mags from Dallas, followers from Ft Worth, and springs from Arlington just to stick it to them like they do to their customers.

I chose San Antonio, not because its where I live, but to make the hair on the back of our mayor's neck stand up just a bit...not that the mousse isn't already helping it already.

From what I've read sounds like they are more than likely moving north.

Just north of Tyler is Lindale, a rapidly growing area with a industrial commercial area located on I-20. FedEx is currently building a new hub operations center in the same industrial park. It would be a perfect place.
