Remember when LaPierre said the next mass shooter is waiting in the wings....well here he is.

Thank God this guy didn't get to run through is plan. I say that for those who would have lost their lives and those who would have been scarred for life by the trauma.

I also say that for the obvious implications it would have on our current political conflicts.

There was another one here in VA that got shut down. He killed a State LEO instead. Poor LEO had like a month left before retirement. They think he (the bad guy) was on his way somewhere to do some real bad stuff the way he was armed. He had several sporting rifles with several hundred rounds in magazines. He was parked on the side of the highway with his flashers on and a state boy pulled up beside him and he took him out with his first shot and kept on shooting and shooting and shooting. Bad stuff.

Now before everyone gets in a tizzy. I know rounds in a car do not equal bad person. Yes, I have many rounds at home (not going into how many), but I don't carry them around, and I don't shoot at police officers that pull up beside me to help. I think that he killed a LEO in cold blood and was found naked during a shoot out with police shows he was nuts and had bad intentions. Thank God for the state police. They stopped a terrible tragedy.

Schooting...I think you just invented a new word. I like it.

Anyone want to take a stab at writing the definition?

You know what I got out of this story the other day was it really seemed like the media was extremely upset that there was not another mass shooting...Not much that they could sensationalize, interviewing all those "crisis actors" they bring in to hype up all the usual emotions and anguish for the real folks who just wanted to be left alone...

:iagree:
I remember watching a tv show many years ago where a news van pulls up to an accident. The reporter and cameraman jump out to realize there isn't much of a story. Then the reporter kicks a flare toward the car leaking gas causing the car to blow up so they would have a story to report.
At the the time I remember thinking no one in their right mind would do such a thing. Now I'm not sure there are many "in the business" who wouldn't.

You and I both would not be surprised...It is a terrible, unethical, and virtue-less world we live in today...And the walls really do seem like they are closing in on those of us who do understand what is at stake...
