Are you refering to our political representatives or the populace in general? If the former I give you Rand Paul and those who supported his filibuster such as Ted Cruz. Jim Jordan, Steve Scalise and the 170 members of the House 'Republican Study Committee" who have raised the ire of Boehner and his ilk by pushing back at "leadership". If the latter I give you the men and women who participate on this forum and others like it across this great country, who rally, who educate, who lead by example in their communities, the men and women who currently serve and those retired from service, in the armed forces of our country. Those who hold dear their oath to uphold and defend the Constittution. Not a wimp nor coward among them.bdickens wrote:Dadtodabone wrote:"It does not take a majority to prevail... but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." Sam Adams. Surely the men he was inciting had fewer resources and less cause for hope then we today have marshalled in the defense of our God given rights?
I'm afraid not. The men that Adams was inciting had more *ahem* spine than any of today's wimps and cowards.

Actually a Manhattan based state supreme court judge.C-dub wrote:Of course, the blue states will fall in line, but even in NY they are fighting back. Mayor Doomberg's big drink ban was halted from going into effect by a federal judge and there are lawsuits against NY's absurd gun control law that was recently passed. I think it,too, will be struck down.

Yeah. Sorry, I thought I'd heard it was a local federal judge.jmra wrote:That's even better.jmorris wrote:Actually a Manhattan based state supreme court judge.C-dub wrote:Of course, the blue states will fall in line, but even in NY they are fighting back. I am not and have never been a LEO. My avatar is in honor of my friend, Dallas Police Sargent Michael Smith, who was murdered along with four other officers in Dallas on 7.7.2016.

Be careful LEO's. You being given an exception to carry doesn't make it okay to bar the rest of us. If you go on vacation there, and I go on vacation there, aren't we both simply citizens? Shouldn't we have the same rights?ScottDLS wrote:Under Federal law (LEOSA), out of state law enforcement would be able to carry in Hawaii...philip964 wrote:Hawaii already really has some of the strictest gun requirements in the country. Of course. I think he was just pointing out that any state laws banning out of state LEOs from carrying were exempted by a federal law saying they can.lbuehler325 wrote:Be careful LEO's.
