I guess I'd be unemployed now if I worked for the USDA.
“I want you to say that American was founded by outsiders – say that – who are today’s insiders, who are very nervous about today’s outsiders. I want you to say, ‘The pilgrims were illegal aliens.’ Say, ‘The pilgrims never gave their passports to the Indians.’” Betances also asked the audience, “Give me a bam,” after these statements, to which the audience replied in unison.

WHAT! Ok, Idiots. This is not anywhere near the neighborhood of reality. As a person with a degree in history the idea that they did this both makes me want to laugh at the insanity and smack whoever thought of it.
The pilgrims did have the old world equivalent of a passport. It is called a charter for the colony. They are trying to rewrite history and I do not appreciate it. Chanting something and banging on a table does not make something factual. It just makes the chanters look like idiots.

Its called revisionism. They, on purpose, attempt to transpose modern values, in general, and leftist "values", specifically, upon events of the past. The events that occurred in the past, while we can easily look back at them and say whether we would or would not want to repeat events of those types, have to be taken in the context of the times. So, for instance, explorers taking land away from others might not seem like something we want to do to others, but in those days, its just how people lived and operated. So many cultures and nations have done that time and again throughout the world's history. But remember, leftists, especially those who subscribe to the tenets of Marxism, want an "end to history". They want everyone to be "just the same"...they want only one world-wide culture...they want an unchanging society...they are, to sum them up, anti-human...no matter what they say about themselves. Human history isn't pretty, for certain, but it is what it is...
I call it something else. Bovine excrement. A lie is a lie is a lie. Who falls for such nonsense.
Short Story. I remember in college in a per-requisite history (American history 101 or something like that) course reading about a certain man in the early 1800's and his opinion on the Native Americans. By the standard of the time he lived in he was quite a generous and kind man. But the class got very uppity and started going on and on about how patronizing what he said was. It was only when I pointed out that he was a man of his times and his contemporaries were much less civil. The teacher (who was amazingly a decent sort of a man) met with me after class and said that I had the mind for understanding history. What I was shocked by was that the class could only see things through their contemporary view. Our education is ever so lacking.

According to USASpending.gov, Souder, Betances and Associates has received over $3 million from the government for its services. Over $2 million of that came from the U.S. Army. I have to assume it was to pay for the same sort of workshop for Army personnel.

Also, the term "emerging majorities" is completely idiotic. There can only be one majority.
