After more than eight hours of public testimony Tuesday, Democrats passed out of committee two gun-control measures that would create universal background checks and limit high-capacity magazines to 15 rounds.
No idea if this can pass the entire House, but losing Magpul may be all the incentive some need to vote against at least the mag capacity bill.

Where did they come up with 15 rounds? That is out of place with their usual 10 round stance. Do they think they are being generous in giving them that extra 5 rounds? :banghead:

I'd like to see them come to Ellis County.

This is what happens when you recklessly import Californians into your state.

15 rounds would avoid issues with most handguns but would affect almost every AR mag out there. Just a guess.

My guess is the Democrat that sponsored the bill manufacturers 15 round mags.

Or owns and/or carries a gun that uses 15 round mags.
