The Newtown Board of Education will be asking the town to make room for more armed police officers in its budget.

In a meeting Thursday, the board voted to request the town to add full time uniformed school resource officers to its four elementary school s for the next fiscal year was approved this evening.

BTW, In the video no one blamed magazine size or said the murderous thief should have registered the stolen guns before entering... they decided to protect the children.

Its not surprising. I'm glad they are thinking about safety. We all see the logic as members of this forum.

My heart still goes out to this town, as in addition to their grief, every decision, statement, reaction, etc. will be publicly scrutinized, interpreted, and used one way or another as an argument for gun debate. They have become political pawns because of their tragedy. The only true justice is to see that these schools are safer.

Wait a second.. I thought the media dogged Wayne when he suggested that, because he's crazy and putting more guns in schools is the worst idea ever!
