Charles, I'm a media junkie and get just as infuriated as you seem to. I can barely stand to watch the local CBS affiliate here in south Texas, though the weatherman is a personal friend-sheesh. Count me in, I'll contribute as often as I can. I think this sounds like a great idea.

The 13 Billion years or so that the universe has been in existence would not give one enough time to do this.

No offense folks, but this thread is simply trying to determine if there are enough volunteers for me to add this feature to the revamped Texas Firearms Coalition website. We'd start with the big three TV networks and expand to others if we have enough volunteers.

Thanks,
Chas.

I'll help when I can. I don't watch much tee vee but can hit the news to assist with this project. I'll get Mrs. Anygunanywhere to stock up on anti-nausea meds to help me get through it.

I would love to help. I just need get some video capturing/editing technology to put the video clip with the real explanation of the misinformation give to highlight the "errors". I think when people see them commit the lie and have it immediately pointed out and things set straight would point out exactly how much a bunch of liars they are.

I think a standard methodology/technology needs be decided upon so all contributions are consistent, concise and effective. Also, someone who already does this sort of thing could teach the rest of us.

Its about time we stop just sitting back and shaking our heads and call out these morons.

Sounds like a great idea Chas, I will contribute as often as possible.
That team might double his viewers.

I'm in; post the web link, but we need some way to coordinate this, otherwise we'll have a bunch of folks watching the same things, with nobody covering the others. If we could all agree on the "top 10" that we must hit, each person could commit to documenting spots, with others providing additional reports as they come across other media lies (could include print as well). A common format for reporting is also needed to make the info collection and rebuttals consistent. At the end of the day, it will come down to cash. We need a Buffet/Cuban/other mega-rich person who is sympathetic to the cause to help counter the liberal money fountain that they have to push this. Any thoughts?

I'm in, too. I can meet or exceed the criteria of frequency laid out.

Some suggestions:

1. A common format for reporting. It doesn't have to be fancy just consistent. Otherwise, all of us who contribute will do it differently and it will be hard for anyone to use.

2. A place were we can coordinate the schedule of programs to be watched. I can see us all ganging up on one or two and letting others go uncovered.

Based on the posts to the forum already, there are enough of us involved in watching the MSM already to handle this if we do it right.

What a great idea! Thank you again, Charles. We all owe you a continuing debt of gratitude.

Should there be a place for the media who get it right?

You'd just need one guy for that....
