I wonder if any of these people who support any kind of ban, realize what a big can of worms they are about to open???? I realize, once a right gets taken away that it never comes back, but the ones in office need to realize that once that unseen line is crossed, there is no going back. I'm not sure if they realize the gravity of the situation and what the likely response would be, not just politically.

They've bought handguns, thousands of rounds of ammo, etc. Then there's the obvious: Why can't you find an AR-15 anywhere? .223 ammo? 9mm ammo? Springfield XDs have sold out in some places. I recently got the last Ruger LC9 at a large gun shop.

They've gotten more guns on the street. 50% of this country (at least) is irritated. Do they really want to back them into a corner?

Unfortunately, most of those who have most recently joined our ranks really do not have a clue about what is going on.
