More of My Thoughts On Where We Are Headed

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

More of My Thoughts On Where We Are Headed

#1

Post by anygunanywhere »

I expressed some thoughts on another thread:
I predict one of two things will happen.

1. The republicans fail to stop the passage of new legislation for whatever reason. The pustule and his orcs will use whatever blackmail or other means is necessary and coerce the rhinos to pass the ban.

2. Another "crisis" occurs, and I do not in the least doubt that the pustule and his orcs fabricate the necessary crisis. Pustule uses executive orders and martial law or similar force to implement the ban.

Remember, the Constitution does not matter. The courts do not matter. NDAA is in effect. We are all now or will be terrorists.
The battle in US Congress will be tough, the NRA and other groups will put up a good fight, but as with most attempts at discussion and compromise, the ban is coming.

I think that our best success is within the individual states. After all we are the United STATES. The fight will be won at the local level outside of the big metro areas where REAL patriots still reside.

We cannot trust the MSM, even Fox News. The entirety of broadcast media is under the pustule's control. Likely, we will not even be able to trust what is left of freedom on the web.

We will have to trust each other once things go sour.

I have met several forum members over the years. I used to be a member of PSC but let my membership lapse as it did not fit in our plans. I think that as a group, we should meet others in our area and form some closer bonds along with phone communications and the like so that we can prepare for what is coming.

As I said before, pardon my dim outlook, but I see nothing on the horizon that gives me a glimmer of hope, especially after the miserable last election.

I see lots of discussions on actions like writing our congress, which we should by all means do. We also need to prepare in many other ways.

Keep the planning and discussions going.

God Bless Texas, God Bless the USA.

They will have no choice.

Remember, the pustule does not need congress.

Read up on the NDAA.

The POTUS has made Congress irrelevant, sad to say.

I would be interested in getting together with other forum members in the DFW area.

When & where and I will be there!

I have noticed even on FB folks are starting to call for preparations. This may go south quickly.

There have been a few meet and greets, but I'd like to have more in DFW. A car club forum I'm on has regular meet and greets at different places around the metroplex.

Ditto. We haven't had one for a while. There are still a lot of "regulars" that I have yet to meet in person and I'd like to fix that.

I am up for a DFW meet. I shot skeet with a few forum members at Alpine earlier in the year.

I live in west Houston. I must admit, I am reconsidering looking at joining a militia here in Texas. There is strength in numbers with the right minded people. I had looked about a year ago and my wife didn't agree with me so the issue was dropped. Anybody have experience with some of these in Texas? I know there are some wacko organizations as I did my research and actually talked or met some representatives of said organizations.

I think it would be great to get together with other CHL forum members to discuss the things Anygun mentioned. I have no interest in joining or participating in any group or organization that is not made up solely of CHL holders.

Anygun - I assume this is what you had in mind. If not please clarify. Just want to make sure I'm on the same page as everyone else.
