I have no link yet...getting reports off of Twitter. I think it's still too early to call (not close by any stretch) but the AP is calling it for Cruz!

Yes, I wish Wes Riddle was doing better; Roger Williams has the familiar name and spent tons more bombarding newspaper inserts mailers etc though; still it's early.

AUSTIN, Texas (AP) — Tea party darling Ted Cruz trounced the Republican establishment favorite, Lt. Gov. David Dewhurst, in Texas' runoff election Tuesday, winning the GOP nomination to replace retiring U.S. Sen. Kay Bailey Hutchison in an outcome that figured to reverberate far beyond the Lone Star State.

I'm not even associated with the TP, but this is 2012, and no quarter! Nobody is safe...time to flush the toilet that is DC.

Most that have been endorsed by Perry and his ilk are getting their butts handed to them.

I agree this will be a statement that many don't want to hear!

Yes, I agree...Roger is one self-serving, ego-maniac. I feel sorry for the folks in his district.

I was a little worried with the money Dewhurst was spending, I heard tonight he loaned his campaign 24 million dollars. Money well spent in my opinion. I am glad Cruz won. I am ready to get rid of all the so called moderate Republicans and RINOs for that matter. Now if we could just get rid of Joe Straus.

my wife and I have been on the band wagon to rid the Republican party of Hopson and his Red River soiled socks since 2008. We met Travis Clardy and his wife back during the winter/early spring, and have been steadily campaigning for him through the entire fight. I'll not say any more about "Mr." Hopson other than I hope he returns to his drug store business in his home territory and faces the Democrats that he walked out on to switch parties just to remain in office. And a pox on all the inner circle Republicans from the governor down to my local county commissioner (actually a life long friend) that endorsed "Mr." Hopson as an ultra conservative Republican candidate.

Go get 'em Travis :cheers2:
