??? train just left the tracks...I'm not being snarky...that last post didn't support either side of the discussion...could you explain???

...we're playing cowboys and Indians this election...those who're over in the corner beating the snot out of a horse thief are helping the Indians...

...it can't be done in one election...you have noone who can displace both parties and overcome their money and voting blocks...if you can't agree with that...the argument's pointless to continue...and the current occupant of the White House will appreciate your vote...

Gandhi would be an improvement over Obama, Romney or Bush.

...so would the Church Lady...we haven't had a whole lot to choose from...we need some patriots that people will get behind and that will lead us back to the principles that made America great in the beginning...

Why just not vote for Obama? A vote for the person who has no chance of winning the election is a vote not counted for the person who can oust the present looser in office. You might as well just stay at home playing your Xbox and not waste your time going to the polls.
Because I like Obama, but I don't think he is as good a POTUS as he could have been. He int fighting the GOP as hard as he should and he caves in to the too much. I feel he is too corporate for this country.

You like the man who has promised to work under the radar to take away your rights. I can think of some past leaders of other countries that you would have loved.

...comfort isn't the goal...the goal is getting the incumbent and his henchmen out of office...I'd vote for Donald Duck to accomplish that...the greatest "principle" or "conscience" issue is stopping the evil...so that we get future elections...I don't think a lot of folks realize how much jeopardy our nation's in...
:iagree: If for no other reason, keeping additional Sotomayor and Kagen types off the bench and away from invalidating the 2nd amendment is worthy of a vote that insures President Obama only serves one term. The next President is likely to make at least two Supreme Court appointments.

The saying that those who don't learn from history are condemned to repeat it was never more true. The Alamo hopefully taught us that a few patriots, hanging out there by themselves, do not get the job done. It takes a lot of people actively working to stop tyranny. I believe that is exactly what we will have if we don't stop it at the ballot box.
