2nd Amendment in action: The Battle of Athens, 1946

I had never heard of this episode before. I imagine that after having survived the European and Pacific theater battles, these men were in no mood to put up with a corrupt political machine, and they did something about it.........the hard way. The video tells the story better than I could.

I knew about it, but I didn't know anyone had made a movie about it. (The move was made in 1992 for Hallmark.)

The Battle of Athens was not unique. Here is a similar case:

Those men had some serious guts. Going to need similar guts to handle what may be coming our way.

Actually it may be an a MUCH larger scale.
Scary, isn't it?
I won't be wronged, I won't be insulted, and I won't be laid a hand on.
I don't do those things to other people and I require the same of them.

IBTL
I believe the basic political division in this country is not between liberals and conservatives but between those who believe that they should have a say in the personal lives of strangers and those who do not.

This is supposedly from a made for TV movie. It actually quotes the 2nd Amendment at the end in accurate context. Now, try to imagine this movie being made and broadcast of TV today. TV today is info light and propaganda heavy.
