Prayers for the little girl and her family

for whomever is responsible for that gun getting into the other kid's back pack

And I don't care one bit how the police or media or anyone else described it - this was NOT an "accident"; this was criminal NEGLIGENCE on the part of someone ( likely the someone who owns the gun and didn't secure it away from the curious hands of an 8-year-old child).

There is simply NO EXCUSE for this to happen. NONE!

Despite what the article said about gun laws in Washington being lax. (Washington to me is strict as we cannot carry there) Washington law is clear that it was illegal for the child to have possession of a gun. It was also illegal for the child to bring it to the school.

My wife told me about it from the TV she said they reported one child shot the other, this story gave the impression that the gun went off inside the back pack.

Poor case of a parent not doing as they should have, SECURE AND LOCK FIREARMS AWAY FROM CHILDREN!!!!!
