So, Obama didn't know about Project Gunrunner, huh?

As the name indicates, this is the place for gun-related political discussions. It is not open to other political topics.

Self serving liars...all of them. We need term limits for all of them - top to bottom and left to right.

Fast And Furious Scandal: A Watergate For Obama?

Attorney General Eric Holder himself gave a speech to Mexican authorities in Cuernavaca, Mexico, on April 2, 2009, taking credit for Gunrunner as well as Fast and Furious for himself and the Obama administration.
In 2011, at the Congressional hearings, I believe Holder says "I just heard about this weeks ago"

Take all this and his little quip to the Brady's about "under the radar" gun control and its got me wondering. Was PG/FF supposed to be the route to this new gun control or is it getting in the way? I can't believe the new 4 state reporting requirements are what he was referring to with his comments to the Brady's and with all the negative press surrounding PG/FF, it would be near political suicide to try and push any actual new restrictions or reinstate the bans from 1994.

It seems that everyday more evidence comes out that we cannot believe anything this administration tells us, I have never seen more political spin from an administration in my entire life. I am truly amazed that the liberals do not see this and call them on their actions rather than listen to the un-truthful words that they spew.........

Because it furthers their Agenda?

BTW, which Liberals? I am considered right-wing by many relatives and friends, but a Liberal when it comes to Abortion and Civil Unions. So it kind of irks me when folks fling the term "Liberal" about when it really doesn't narrow down just who it is we might be talking about.

Please don't compare this to Watergate. It’s not even in the same ballpark. This is a new low of heinous.

Nixon’s Watergate scandal was ultimately about the Republicans attempt to gather evidence that the democrats were running prostitutes out of their national headquarters.
Yes, this is true. I heard G. Gordon Liddy himself say this on a radio interview with Dan Patrick a couple years ago.
Was it an illegal break in? Yes.
Was anyone hurt? No.
Did anyone die? No.

Many of Nixon’s aids went to prison over this and Nixon had to receive a pardon.

Fast and Furious is an attempt to usurp the 2nd amendment of our constitution. So far at least one US law enforcement officer has been killed and hundreds and possibly thousands of Mexican citizens have been killed with these weapons.

Watergate is a joke compared to the seriousness of this!!

Did you guys catch the fact that a similar operation was run out of the Tampa Florida office sending guns to Honduras to be used by the MS-13 gangs?

Does anyone else remember when such an attempt would be called, "treason"?

Just a thought: Doesn't the koran say that you can lie to justify the means to your end ?(by the way, it does) Hasn't obama and almost everyone in his administration lied to try and achieve their goals? Is there a connection?

Just saying........
